A little after five in the afternoon, Sato Gokuei returned home as soon as his club activities ended.
After kicking off his shoes, he hurried into his bedroom. His mother came out just as she was about to say something to him, only to find that he had already shut his door.

She shook her head helplessly, said nothing more, and turned back toward the kitchen.
The moment Sato Gokuei returned to his room, he tossed aside his schoolbag and turned on his computer.
