In the early morning, the whole world was bright and clear. Sunlight filtered through the thin mist, gently falling over everything and creating a particularly pleasing sight.
Several little birds chirped crisply by the window, their calls directly waking Miss Miko from her sleep.
Miko Yotsuya rubbed her eyes, felt around for the phone beside her bed, and checked the time. It was already nearly seven in the morning.
Thinking of something, Miko looked at little Griseo beside her. Little Griseo was still sleeping soundly, making it almost unbearable to wake her.
But remembering that she still had to take her to school, Miko had no choice but to gently shake little Griseo.
"Little Griseo, time to get up. You're going to school today."
Her hand rested on Griseo's skin. Come to think of it... when two people slept pressed together, they would feel sticky upon waking, due to bodily secretions.
But Griseo had never been like that, so Miko Yotsuya had gotten used to this living body pillow.
"Mmm..."
"Don't wanna get up..."
Griseo rolled over and answered groggily.
"You can't stay in bed."
In the past, Griseo had not needed to do anything, so it had not mattered if she slept in. But now that she had decided to go to school, she could not be late.
So Miko directly pulled the blanket off little Griseo and helped her sit up.
With the blanket gone and Miko helping her sit properly, Griseo woke up quite a bit. She rubbed her large eyes uncomfortably.
"Miko, bad person..."
"Yes, yes, I'm a bad person! A bad person who specializes in bullying Griseo, all right?"
Miko Yotsuya shook her head speechlessly, then opened the wardrobe beside her and found an outfit for little Griseo.
"Come on, I'll help you get dressed."
