It wasn't unheard of for the male and female leads of manga and anime to step out of their stories. Without exception, they either forcibly demanded that their creators rewrite the plot.
Or they directly took revenge on them, since their painful lives had been arranged by those creators.
Sakura was worried that Kiana might make a move against little Griseo, so she warned her in advance.
"How could I? I would never bully a child. Of course, that doesn't include people who only look like children."
Kiana hurriedly refuted her, but then she thought of her aunt and quickly added that last part!
Her aunt Theresa was already so old, yet she still looked like a little loli. Someone like that... Kiana could definitely bring herself to hit her.
"But what is a Fusion Soldier?"
Hearing Sakura mention Fusion Soldiers, Kiana grew curious.
"Something similar to a Valkyrie, I suppose. But the direction is different. If you want to know more, little Griseo's Fire Moth can satisfy your curiosity."
"Once you finish reading it, you'll have a general understanding of the people you're about to meet."
"Fire Moth... Naiko seemed to mention it too. It was the previous civilization of our world—a story from fifty thousand years ago?"
Could they be related to the previous era of Honkai?
But hadn't that happened fifty thousand years ago? How could they possibly be connected to that era?
"Naiko?"
Sakura was equally confused. She had absolutely no impression of the Naiko Kiana mentioned. That should have been impossible, since she possessed all of Kiana's memories.
It was only after Kiana explained that Sakura understood: Naiko was someone Kiana had happened to meet in this world.
Without giving it much thought, Sakura took out a phone and placed it in front of Kiana.
