The early summer sun carried a hint of scorching heat as busy people continued to hurry through the city.
Compared to those bustling pedestrians, the cats lazily sprawled on the ground, stretching and basking in the sun, had instead become objects of envy.
Working nine to five every day, with overtime thrown in now and then. They felt exhausted all day long, yet the workload was so heavy... and the pay was nothing special.
It felt like they were worse off than a cat.
Passing pedestrians looked at the lazy cats and could not help but sigh.
"Being a cat is still better! You don't have to do anything or think about anything. Every day, all you do is eat, sleep... and bask in the sun."

One little orange tabby had secretly stolen a bag of packaged apples from a fruit shop and hurried off in a certain direction.
The shop employee saw the cat running away with the bag of apples in its mouth and immediately panicked!
"Stop! Put down those apples! Stop!!"
