Kiana looked over the mountain before her. The ecosystem here had been well preserved; simply standing in its midst felt cleansing, and the air was fresh.
It was absolutely a perfect natural oxygen bar!
Yet there was not a soul in sight. Not even birds or animals could be seen, making the place exceptionally quiet.
Other than the few Zombies from before, she had not seen any other Honkai Beasts or Zombies.
After crossing the stone bridge, Kiana continued toward the mountainside ahead. This would have been a great place for sightseeing. If she did not have Honkai to deal with, she would have liked to take a leisurely stroll around here.
Too bad she had not brought a camera...
After passing through another patch of forest, Kiana was about to look up at the sky when she suddenly sensed something and hastily darted aside.
A flash of steel appeared, narrowly missing Kiana's body.
Looking closely, she saw several Zombies wielding katanas. They had been lying in ambush here, waiting to launch a sneak attack. If Kiana had not grown so much stronger, and if Fu Hua's guidance had not made her more sensitive to danger, she might already have been cut.

Why did they all seem to know she would come this way, even preparing an ambush in advance?
