Across the snow-white land, a modified vehicle crawled forward. Before long, the road ahead came to an end, making it impossible to continue, so they could only stop there.
They could have forced the car onward, but there was no guarantee the vehicle would not break down.
"We're finally here. Thanks, mister."
Kiana gazed out the window at the endless whiteness. It really was so quiet!
Then she turned and thanked the driver.
"I never want to come to this damned place again, girl... Be careful on your own!"
The driver was a burly Northern European man dressed in a thick coat, staring ahead with obvious distaste. If Kiana had not paid so much, he never would have agreed to her request.
"Thanks for the trouble."
Kiana opened the door, and an even colder gust of air immediately rushed in. Even she could not help shivering.
So cold!
But Kiana was no ordinary person. She quickly adapted to the temperature and jumped out of the car.
"Oh, right! Girl, I don't know why you insist on coming to this damned place, but let me give you a warning. If you see anything obviously unreasonable along the way, remember to turn around and leave. Never get close to it."
The driver turned the car around. Just as he was about to leave, he looked at the girl standing in the snow and felt a little reluctant to abandon her. He still gave her a kind warning.
It would be such a shame for such a beautiful girl to die here.
