Elsewhere, Fairy Airi had only just teleported into the castle's great hall. Before she could catch her breath, a crowd of wooden puppets appeared out of thin air, all staring at her with blood-red eyes.
Combined with the graffiti in this eerie castle, they really were frightening.
Fairy Airi was not frightened, though. She hastily raised her wand, blasted them with magic, and kept running.
Yet when she reached another room, more wooden puppets appeared ahead of her, blocking her path.
She turned around. There were more behind her, too...
"Aaaah! These stupid pieces of wood are so annoying!"
Fairy Airi was getting a little irritated, but all she could do was wave her wand and fire a dozen heart-shaped magic bullets at them.
She dealt with those wooden puppets, but before she could do anything else, the strongest stitched monster suddenly appeared before her.
Numerous tentacles even extended from its body, reaching toward Fairy Airi...
The sight of those tentacles made Fairy Airi shudder with disgust, and she hurriedly flew backward.
"Y-you... don't come any closer! I'm very delicate, you know."
But the monster was not won over by Fairy Airi's cuteness. Instead, it grew even more aggressive!
Its tentacles reached out like enormous whiskers, trying to coil around her.
Fairy Airi was tiny, and the difference in size between her and the stitched monster was enormous. She narrowly dodged the tentacles.
Fairy Airi leaned against her wand, fuming.
"Hmph! Now you've made this great fairy angry! Come out, my adorable Magic Dolls."
With a wave of her wand, the fairy summoned a whole crowd of Magic Dolls before her.
"My little cuties, defeat them."
At her command, the Magic Dolls immediately charged the surrounding wooden puppets, though most of them faced off against the stitched monster.
Seeing that
