Aye Kanase did not immediately agree to Elysia's proposal. Instead, she asked about Natsuki Minamiya. Clearly, she was not as indifferent toward Natsuki Minamiya as she claimed.
"Is who I am really that important?"

Elysia could understand Aye Kanase's wariness, but explaining herself seemed like far too much trouble.

After several seconds of silence, Aye Kanase knew she was in no position to negotiate terms, but... she did not want to be used by someone else.
"You don't need to be so wary of me. My goal is the same as yours: to save witches with tragic fates. That includes you and little Natsuki too."
"...What are you talking about? I have no such childish notion. How ridiculous!"
Upon hearing Elysia's words, Aye Kanase's expression shifted slightly before returning to normal.
All along, the wish she had displayed and the contract she had made with the demon were supposedly to see the truth of this world—to prove that a world without magic was the world's true original state.
Yet this fairy claimed that she wanted to save witches with tragic fates. Such a childish idea... how could she even say something like that?
