Faced with Aye Kanase's attitude of utterly disregarding them, the witch from LCO beside her turned cold. Though she was not as powerful as the Secretary Witch, she was not far behind.
For the past five years, Aye Kanase had been imprisoned within the Prison Barrier, while she herself had continued to grow stronger. She had no fear whatsoever of the famed Secretary Witch.
So how could she possibly swallow such an insult?
Just as the witch was about to open her grimoire, the male mage beside her stopped her.
"Enough! How the Secretary Witch escaped is unimportant. This is a good thing."

Seeing the male mage speak, the witch reluctantly held herself back despite her resentment.
From beginning to end, Aye Kanase did not spare them another glance. She merely carefully inspected the makeup of her "daughter" beside her.
The Library was something Aye Kanase was determined to claim!
If it had been her former self, she would have been unable to do anything to them, much less control them, without relying on the Grimoire of Dark Oaths. But now, she had the means.
Whether it was to serve that fairy lady or for herself... the Library was an indispensable force.
Seeing Aye Kanase ignore them, the male mage and witch from the Library turned cold as well.
Even a Secretary Witch of considerable standing in the Library had no right to treat them like this. After all, they had come bearing orders from headquarters.
"Secretary Witch, LCO orders you to return the Grimoire of Dark Oaths immediately and come back to the Library with us at once."
Seeing how little face Aye Kanase gave them, the senior mage naturally did not bother with courtesy. He directly relayed the Library's orders.
They had come not
