"Kojou, Kojou, I want to eat that..."
Beside the snack stalls on the tourist shopping street, a cute, energetic little girl who looked like an elementary schooler rubbed her belly and stared longingly at the fragrant food before her.
She hurriedly tugged at the boy standing behind her, who was slightly older than she was.
The two of them had rushed here without eating anything. How could anyone possibly resist something that smelled this good?
"Nagisa, let me see if we have enough money first!"
Kojou Akatsuki looked somewhat exhausted, as though he wanted nothing more than to lie down right there and rest.
"Cheer up, Kojou! What kind of state are you in?"
Looking at her brother, Nagisa Akatsuki—though clearly the younger sister—scolded her useless brother like a mother... no, like an older sister.
"Yeah, yeah... After all that running around, where am I supposed to find any energy? You're the strange one, Nagisa..."
Watching Nagisa Akatsuki start chattering away again, Kojou Akatsuki felt even more helpless. Even their mother did not talk this much, yet his little sister was like an old housewife, endlessly nagging away.
Though he knew she was worried about him!
They had spent so long on planes and transferred through several vehicles, especially with seats that were all the worst kind. There had been no way to get any proper rest.
After all that, even the most energetic person would be exhausted, right?
Yet his little sister did not seem tired at all. She was still as lively as ever, leaving Kojou Akatsuki feeling helpless. He could not even compare to his little sister.
"It's because you're always dragging your feet, Kojou, and besides..."
The girl complained unhappily about her brother. A boy who was not even as capable as she was.
