At noon, the sun scorched the leaves until they curled up, while cicadas droned endlessly, adding another layer of irritation to the sweltering heat.

After lunch, Seele stood before the mirror in her bedroom, looking at what she was wearing... feeling a little embarrassed.

Seele was dressed in a student uniform similar to those worn by middle schoolers in this country, with a distinctly British style. It did not belong to any particular school, though; it was merely similar clothing.

A yellow top went with a black-and-red plaid school skirt that fell to just above Seele's knees. Thankfully, the skirt came with built-in safety shorts, so she did not have to worry about accidentally exposing herself.

On her feet were black leather shoes, along with white thigh-high stockings that rose past her knees. At a glance, she looked brimming with youthful energy.

"How do I look in this, Dark Seele? Is it a little inappropriate?" Seele awkwardly held her hands together before her chest, her large blue eyes carrying the hesitation and worry of a little rabbit.

"You look adorable! Seele is the best."

A red butterfly appeared behind Seele. Dark Seele skillfully wrapped an arm around Seele's waist, resting her identical little head on Seele's shoulder as she praised her with a smile.

"But... I still don't feel used to it. I'm not even going to school right now." Seele remained a little worried.

"It's not like you have to be in school to dress like this. Don't worry... no one will say anything about you." Dark Seele did not finish what she meant. Anyone who dared to bully Seele would receive a terrifying punishment from her.
