Black Wolf

The so-called shelter was an underground base in a small town. The town had once been home to an underground factory that produced things best kept out of sight.

After the Resident Evil outbreak, the factory was abandoned... and then a group of survivors turned it into a shelter.

Zombies had a hard time getting in. As long as the entrance was guarded and they had enough supplies, they could live here safely.

The conditions weren't anything special, but it was safe. Nobody wanted to be attacked by zombies in the middle of a rest!

When they reached the entrance to the underground shelter, Bronya saw about a dozen guards there. Every one of them was fully armed, with an automatic or semiautomatic rifle slung over their shoulder.

There were even two machine guns nearby...

As the transport truck and armored vehicle approached, the guards immediately raised their guns and aimed at the group.

"It's me, Dick... We're back with supplies. Open up! These people are survivors who came after hearing the news. The transport truck ran into a little trouble on the way, and they saved us." Dick stuck his head out and called to the guards blocking the road.

"Oh, it's you, Dick! But... even you have to get checked before going in. Hope you won't make this difficult for us."

The guards didn't let their guard down just because it was Dick.

"All right! Though I'd like to say nobody here was bitten by a zombie..." Dick said nonchalantly as he opened the door and got out, then walked over beside the armored vehicle behind them.

"Everyone, come out for a bit! You just need to show you haven't been bitten."

"What a hassle!"

Though some of them were reluctant, they still got out of the vehicles.
