Chicago, located south of Lake Michigan in the Midwest of the United States, was the country's third-largest city, its largest commercial hub, and one of its biggest futures markets. The number of new businesses in its metropolitan area had consistently ranked first in the nation, and it had been rated the most economically balanced region in the United States.
Of course, that was... before the Resident Evil outbreak. Now, Chicago was nothing more than an abandoned, desolate city. Aside from the occasional zombie, there was practically no sign of life anywhere in the city.
Until today. In a long-abandoned hotel room, more than a dozen pillars of light suddenly appeared. There was a person inside each pillar, but all of them seemed to be asleep.
