Rita shrugged and seemed to urge Mashiro on.

Mashiro spoke softly. Her tone and expression were remarkably calm, yet that calmness conveyed nothing, leaving others to guess. It was as if, to her, all of this was simply for reference material, so she could improve further in her career as a manga artist.
Even Rita had nothing to say in response to Mashiro like this.
"I know texture and tactile sensation are important too. That's how the things you draw come alive."
"I agree. Only things you've personally touched can be given a deeper purpose."
Rita nodded, as though she and Mashiro were discussing an extremely important academic matter.
Compared to Mashiro Shiina, she had not yet reached the level of an artist, nor did she possess Mashiro's distinctive artistic way of thinking. But she had drawn quite a lot of manga by now, and she understood manga and art... Other things aside, she could at least be considered to possess the basic qualities of an artist.
"Lie down!"
The girl issued the command forcefully. Mashiro had a startling dedication to drawing manga, and she would do many things to improve her manga-drawing skills.
Although Mashiro's tone was somewhat forceful and made Rita raise her brows, she could not bring herself to refuse when she saw Mashiro Shiina's serious expression. After hesitating for a moment, she simply went along with it and lay down on her bed.

After staring at Rita on the bed and thinking for a moment, Mashiro reached a correct conclusion.

Mashiro Shiina's expression
