"What underground band? They're just a little better-looking... Their singing isn't even that great. They're not even half as good as Kiana!"
On the street home, Rita slowly walked along while holding Mashiro Shiina's hand. Akizuki Marina and the others had invited them to some underground performance. Since she had nothing else to do, Rita hadn't refused and had taken Mashiro Shiina with her early that morning.
But once they got there, everyone kept praising the singer, yet after listening for a while, Rita realized they merely looked decent... As for being such an amazing singer, that was clearly not the case.
Growing more bored the longer she listened, Rita told the Akizuki sisters and left early with Mashiro Shiina.
However, since they had walked there and Mashiro Shiina was forever unhurried, they had taken quite a while to reach the street near home.

Mashiro Shiina offered no opinion whatsoever on Rita's words and simply listened quietly.
Then, all of a sudden... she stopped walking, forcing Rita, who was holding her hand, to stop as well and look at her in confusion.
"Rita, Baumkuchen... and fried tofu."
Mashiro Shiina stared at the supermarket not far away, her voice as soft as the wind reaching Rita's ears.
"I knew it..."
Most of the time, the reason Mashiro Shiina stopped walking was because she wanted Baumkuchen. But now that she got along well with Higokumaru, whenever she ate Baumkuchen, she would think of Higokumaru's favorite fried tofu.
"We're running low on ingredients and fruit at home too. Let's go to the supermarket!"
Looking at the supermarket ahead, Rita remembered that the supplies in the fridge were nearly gone again. It was about time to restock.
After entering the supermarket, they found a small cart... and began selectively placing various ingredients
