"I am a Senior Seeker of the Baldur's Gate diocese of the Church of Gond, a level 7 cleric and level 2 wonderworker..."
A wonderworker was an advanced class unique to the Church of Gond. Like clerics, they relied primarily on Wisdom and were divine spellcasters.
However, wonderworkers also possessed many of an artificer's abilities. They excelled at infusing magic and crafting all manner of magical items.
Olong specialized in crafting magical turrets, allowing him to exert far greater combat power than an ordinary cleric in defensive battles.
After Olong finished, his apprentice and Midok introduced themselves as well.
The three Gond priests were willing to help the Harpers on one condition: the control console had to be protected during the battle, and the mythallar core could not suffer any damage.
Jaheira readily agreed.
Meeting the Gond priests' requirements would only require altering the planned battlefield and keeping the fighting as far from that hall as possible. It would not be difficult.
"All right, friends. The enemy will launch their attack soon, and we don't have much time. Follow me." Marvin spoke to the three Gond priests, his face full of delight at having found more able bodies.
