Emperor Beak Fire Zhao, the Violet Radiance Immortal of those years—the one known as the "Chu Zhao Emperor"—had gained no small benefits and stabilized his Dao accomplishments. He then magnanimously abdicated, passing the throne to his imperial great-grandson—Shi Chenggan!

Though Shi Chenggan had been considered fairly outstanding among his many descendants and later advanced to Purple Mansion, his aptitude was ultimately insufficient. Once five hundred years had passed, he did not even qualify to achieve immortality and died.
