Within Slaughter Hall, countless bloody auras permeated the air. Deep within the rows of beast pens, Killing Intent and resentful qi ran wild like weeds.
Before the great hall, a Daoist in crimson-stained robes bustled about. He held a blood-colored bone blade, his clothes disheveled and his long hair hanging loose over his shoulders. Visible red light filled the depths of his eyes, making him seem exceptionally wicked and ghostly. As he moved through the Killing Intent and resentful qi, the many vengeful souls recoiled in terror as though they had encountered a dreadful nemesis.
Just then, a trace of surprise surfaced in the depths of Flame Daoist's scarlet eyes. His gaze fell upon a side hall nearby.
Rumble! Rumble!
A majestic, dazzling golden radiance suddenly erupted from the center of that side hall. Within the golden light manifested a vast sword phantom that shot straight into the clouds. Its sword light pierced through the terrifying black cloud of resentful qi hanging over Slaughter Hall and surged into heaven and earth. Even more of the vast spiritual essence of heaven-and-earth metal flooded in at that moment, pouring down vertically along the golden radiance that soared into the skies.
"Such dense innate metal spiritual nature... Could Qingli's innate talent have advanced even further...?"
Flame Daoist could not help narrowing his eyes, a hint of astonishment still lingering within them.
The wilderness was vast, and there were countless people in heaven and earth who possessed innate talent. Yet those capable of elevating their innate talent another step were far fewer; this could already be called an innate spirit body.
An innate spirit body was a body close to the Dao, its aptitude no inferior to certain celestial beings born from innate gestation.
Legend had it that celestial beings existed above the firmament.
