A majestic, exquisite divine mountain stood high above heaven and earth, its strange rocks and cascading waterfalls hanging from the ravines like jade dragons.
Before the Dao Palace, Jade Clarity Daoist gazed at the distant waterfall and spoke softly.
"Taiwei, is that Yan Ju your Primordial Spirit incarnation, or the corpse-body of your Primordial Spirit?"
There was undoubtedly an enormous difference between a Primordial Spirit corpse-body and a Primordial Spirit incarnation.

"This disciple dares not conceal it from Master. Yan Ju is indeed, in essence, the corpse-body of this disciple's Primordial Spirit, though he differs somewhat from an ordinary Primordial Spirit corpse-body."

A Primordial Spirit corpse-body usually contained a portion of one's own origin, Primordial Spirit will, and so on.
Once a Primordial Spirit corpse-body was lost, it was equivalent to permanently losing part of one's origin, which would affect one's future attainments.
His other self had been nurtured from the origin between heaven and earth. It too contained a trace of his own imprint, and because of the Primordial Treasure Mirror, its potential was identical to that of a Primordial Spirit corpse-body.
If his other self perished, he would likewise lose a portion of his origin. Yet now that he had attained the Primordial Daluo Golden Immortal, it would no longer affect his foundation.
