Uchiha Yan developed powerful cultivation, medical, and combat techniques while drawing the attention of Tsunade, Danzo, and the Uchiha leadership. After thwarting Danzo’s attempt to seize him, Yan helped the clan launch new businesses and set out to build ties with the Nara Clan.

• Uchiha Yan was born into the Uchiha clan and developed techniques to convert natural energy into Innate Qi, strengthen his body, and improve the clan’s medicinal baths.
• Yan shared his body-tempering and spiritual cultivation methods with his family and Uchiha Mikoto, then awakened a golden-edged Three-Tomoe Sharingan and created techniques to cultivate and purify Uchiha bloodlines.
• Yan impressed Tsunade with his medical knowledge and became her disciple, while Danzo repeatedly sought to take him for Root and the Third Hokage tried to keep Danzo at bay.
• After Yan trapped four Root Jōnin with his spiritual illusion, he enslaved them and sent them to spy on Danzo, while rumors about Danzo’s experiments provoked Tsunade to confront him.

Uchiha Yan developed secret medicines, advanced his sealing and cultivation research, and helped bring the Medical Talisman toward production. When Hidden Cloud abducted Kushina, Yan rescued her, subdued Root operatives, and concealed his role while suspicions grew around Danzo and the Third Hokage.

• Uchiha Yan contracted with Nara Shikayama to supply medicinal ingredients, and Nara Shikayama verified the secret medicines before arranging for the Yamanaka and Akimichi clans to buy them.
• Uchiha Yan studied sealing with Kushina, perfected a stronger Eight Trigrams Seal, and began developing the Medical Talisman with Tsunade.
• Uchiha Yan created Uzumaki bloodline cultivation and purification techniques, shared his cultivation methods with Kushina and members of the Uchiha Clan, and prepared protective scrolls as war with Sunagakure loomed.
• Uchiha Yan completed the Medical Talisman design, secured the Flying Raijin Technique scroll from Tsunade, and developed new techniques including a Divine Clone and a transformation that borrowed bloodline abilities.

Uchiha Yan expanded his abilities, brought Uzumaki Rena safely to Konoha, and began building new relationships while pursuing his research. As Madara took notice of him, Yan also discovered the severe injuries caused by the Eight Gates and began helping Might Guy and Might Duy.

• Uchiha Yan developed new techniques and spiritual cultivation methods, evolved his Sharingan to six tomoe, and taught several of his family members and Tsunade and Kushina.
• Uchiha Yan reluctantly enrolled in the Ninja Academy, where he met Obito Uchiha, Kakashi Hatake, and Kurenai Yuhi, then arranged for a Shadow Clone to attend some classes.
• Uchiha Yan rescued Uzumaki Rena from Kusagakure and brought her to Konoha, where Kushina welcomed her and the Third Hokage approved her residence.
• Uchiha Yan tested the Otherworld Summoning Technique and summoned Little Blue and Ralts, whose abilities helped him develop new training methods and spatial teleportation.

As Yan uncovered Madara’s influence over Hidden Mist, Konoha prepared for war by sending the Uchiha to the front, deepening divisions within the clan.

• Uchiha Yan gave Might Duy and Might Guy an improved Eight Gates technique, medicine, and a training plan, while Danzo began plotting against the increasingly popular Hatake Sakumo.
• Tsunade returned to Konoha and demanded compensation for her gambling losses, while Uchiha Yan defeated Minato in a spar and gave him the Rasengan in exchange for his support of the Uchiha.
• Uchiha Yan sparred with Hatake Sakumo and advised him on swordsmanship, prompting Sakumo to recognize the political trap around him and retire from official service.
• Sakumo publicly announced his retirement and rejected any ambition to become Hokage, while Danzo and the Third Hokage dealt with the fallout from the villagers’ reaction.
• Uchiha Yan developed new sword techniques and helped Sakumo and Kakashi advance their swordsmanship, while Sakumo settled into retirement and worried that other villages might exploit Konoha’s turmoil.
