One Punch Shatters the Barrier! The Unkillable Danzo?

Outside the surveillance room.

As Danzo's furious order was given, a dull sound of machinery locking together came from inside the walls of the entire passage.

Three lead-core alloy walls, each half a meter thick, crashed down, completely sealing off the corridor ahead. Immediately afterward, dense purple sealing runes lit up across the surface of the walls.

Danzo had not intended to take him down together as he had said over the loudspeaker. He was standing beside the entrance to a hidden tunnel that had already been opened. At this moment, the white bandages wrapped around Danzo's right arm had already been half unraveled, revealing a withered arm. On that arm, a bizarre Sharingan was wide open, giving off an ominous red light.

Before Danzo could finish speaking, his vision suddenly blurred.

Yuan had already flashed behind Danzo. Without wasting a single word, he drove the kunai in his hand viciously through Danzo's right shoulder blade, burying it to the hilt.

"Gah!" Danzo let out a scream and had just raised his left hand to form signs for a counterattack when Yuan backhanded a slap onto his left wrist. With a crack, Danzo's wrist shattered straight into a pulp of flesh.

"Too weak. A broken-spined dog like you, who only knows how to hide in the dark, isn't even worthy of making me use a second move."

Yuan sneered, clenched his left hand into a fist, and punched straight into Danzo's back, aiming at his heart. His fist pierced directly through the breastbone and emerged from the front of his chest. Danzo's heart was instantly blasted into a mass of blood by that violent force.

He pulled his hand back, and Danzo's corpse collapsed to the floor like mud, blood spreading everywhere.

"What 'darkness of the shinobi world'? You're nothing but a bug that dies with one squeeze." Yuan casually tore down the curtain beside him, wiped the blood off his hand, then turned to search the room.

However, the instant he turned around, every hair on his back stood on end.

A steady set of footsteps came from the doorway he had just kicked through.

Yuan whipped his head around.

Danzo, whose heart he had just punched through and who could not possibly be more dead, was now standing at the doorway completely unharmed. Not a single part of his clothing was damaged, and even the bloody hole in his shoulder had disappeared.

The corpse on the floor vanished without a trace like an illusion.

The only difference was that the Sharingan on Danzo's right arm, which had originally been open, had now quietly closed, completely losing its luster.

"Impossible... I clearly killed you. That was the real feeling of piercing a heart, not a Shadow Clone." Yuan narrowed his eyes, staring fixedly at the person at the doorway.

A mocking sneer surfaced on Danzo's old face. "I told you, you cannot kill me. I am the indispensable darkness of this village, the one destined to become Hokage. How could a brat like you possibly kill me?"

"Is that so? Then I'll beat you until you're truly dead!"

Without the slightest hesitation, Yuan's figure erupted forward again. This time, he used a blade.

A flash of steel passed, and Danzo's head shot into the air, blood spraying three feet high from his neck. The corpse fell to the floor.

Danzo once again walked out from the corner of the room, completely unharmed.

"Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation!"

Yuan spat out a sea of fire that directly burned Danzo into charcoal.

Danzo revived on the spot once more, not even his breathing disturbed. But after each revival, he had to take a slight breath, as if this power was consuming his chakra intensely.

"? It's Izanagi!" After killing him three times in a row, Yuan finally saw the trick. He had secretly read that manga back in class, and he only remembered the general idea.

"Let's see how many times you can revive!"

The killing intent in Yuan's eyes grew even more intense. Flame-Lightning Chidori burst out with an ear-piercing roar in his palm, and he thrust it straight toward Danzo.

This time, Danzo did not take it head-on. His expression changed drastically, and using the brief opening from his previous revival, he formed hand signs at lightning speed and plunged into the secret tunnel that had long since been prepared. The tunnel entrance thundered shut in an instant, and a heavy Dragon-Severing Stone smashed down.

Yuan's Flame-Lightning Chidori blasted into the stone, only blowing out a pit several meters deep. The tunnel completely collapsed.

He failed to catch up.

But in Yuan's hand, he was tightly gripping a bloodstained strip of bandage torn from Danzo's right arm.

He had ripped it off one second before Danzo fled.

Yuan spread his hand open.

On the inside of that strip of white bandage, a piece of something still attached to flesh was shockingly sewn in place. And on that piece of skin, more than a dozen pale eyeballs were densely embedded. Although no chakra was driving them, there was no mistaking those familiar patterns.

Yuan lowered his head and looked at that strip of bandage. With a boom, something seemed to explode inside his mind.

"These eyes... are they all from the Uchiha clan?"
