When Alliance High King Varian Wrynn unearthed the Heart of Y'Shaarj, Tauren High Chieftain Arnak Grimtotem of the Townlong Steppes finally launched an attack on Osul Fire Camp.
Arnak Grimtotem wielded the Claw of Ten Thousand Claws and rode the massive Kodo Beast Wildhorn at the forefront of the heavy Kodo cavalry.
Compared to ordinary Kodo Beasts, Wildhorn was practically a mutant. It was even larger than Nagrand's Clefthooves and Pandaria's Mushan Beasts. Together, Wildhorn and Arnak Grimtotem were like a colossal steel tank.
The crude barricades erected by the Osul Fire Camp Yaungol could not stop this terrifying combination at all. Trenches and fences might as well not have existed.
The Yaungol were nomads after all, so they naturally understood the devastating power of cavalry. However, they were not particularly clever, and they had received no news of the battle on the Kun-Lai Summit Yaungol front. Thus, they boldly organized their Yaungol yak cavalry to charge head-on.
"Heavy Kodo cavalry, crush them!" Arnak Grimtotem spun the Claw of Ten Thousand Claws through the air, sweeping the Yaungol yak cavalry before him away. Those sent flying slammed into and knocked over their comrades behind them as well.
"Strength and glory!"
"Blood and Thunder!"
The Tauren heavy Kodo cavalry shouted deafening slogans as they fearlessly charged toward the more numerous Yaungol yak cavalry.
The strongest heavy cavalry on land was undoubtedly the heavy Kodo cavalry. Against the Yaungol yak cavalry, who were likewise gifted as heavy cavalry, the heavy Kodo cavalry was like a hot knife thrust into butter.
In terms of sheer creature weight, the Yaungol yak cavalry and Tauren Kodo cavalry were actually not far apart. However, both the Tauren warriors and Kodo Beasts of the heavy Kodo cavalry had been carefully selected, each far stronger than its peers.
