The Anti-Ultraman Armor was something Stark had been tinkering with for who knew how many years. But because its intended target was absurdly powerful and the technical difficulty was simply too great, it had never been completed.
Not long after becoming director of S.H.I.E.L.D., however, Stark finally finished the armor.
As for how well it actually worked...well, it had never been tested, so that was hard to say.
Stark had originally wanted to give it a more imposing name, but after mulling it over for a long time, he ultimately went with the classic, formulaic name "Anti-Ultraman Armor." Who knew whether Stark had already foreseen the fate of this armor before naming it...
But to an interstellar giant a mile tall, Stark's Anti-Ultraman Armor, though over a hundred meters tall, was still just a tiny speck. It was much like an ordinary Iron Man suit buzzing around a Space Beast. His super-enhanced repulsor blasts and tactical warheads seemed to have no effect on the Celestial either, contributing little more than visual effects.
The other Avengers needed no mention. War Machine and the like were no more than buzzing mosquitoes in Exterminator's eyes, the kind that could not even leave a bump from a bite. Their greatest use was probably irritating the Celestial's keen hearing with the noise of jet engines, Gatling guns, and high-explosive missiles.
Since the director himself had arrived, S.H.I.E.L.D. naturally had no reason to hide in the back like turtles.
Three S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarriers surged out at once in grand fashion, while countless Quinjets blanketed the sky like a swarm of locusts.
They might not have been of much use, but if they lost this battle, humanity would be finished. There was no point hiding in the rear. At this moment, every S.H.I.E.L.D. agent had summoned the courage
