In the Black Forest, a certain Talulah scratched her head in frustration.
After taking a detour to the snowfield, she soon spotted the conspicuous Black Forest.
After examining the snow within the forest, Talulah reached the same conclusion as the Yeti Squadron.
Thinking of the mysterious seed Alina had kept, a powerful sense of unease spread through her heart.
Driven by curiosity and worry, she stepped into this overly silent forest.
Yet reality quickly taught her a harsh lesson.
"I'm lost..."
Talulah sighed and looked around at the nearly identical black trunks.
The dense canopy blocked out the daylight. She had tried climbing to the treetops to observe her surroundings, but after climbing back down, her sense of direction was swiftly confused by the repetitive scenery around her.
Talulah had also considered leaving marks on the trunks, but to her alarm, even her sharp sword could not leave so much as a white scratch on these strange trees!
As evening drew closer, Talulah's anxiety grew heavier and heavier.
"It's already this late... Alina won't come looking for me, will she?"
The moment she thought of Alina having once been abducted, Talulah's gaze instantly hardened.
"Since conventional methods only make me lose my bearings..."
She raised a hand toward the front as the dragon blood of the Draco within her began to boil.
Scorching energy frantically gathered in her palm, and the surrounding air warped from the heat.
"Then I'll blast a path through!"
Boom—!!!
A pillar of fire roared forth, instantly swallowing the path ahead. The high temperature vaporized the snow and scorched the ground black.
Talulah was certain that this strike would be enough to carve a broad corridor of charred earth through the forest.
Yet when the blazing flames dispersed, the sight before her froze her in place.
