"Get up."

Yun Tian withdrew his hand, his expression calm as he looked at Wang Sheng lying on the ground.

Wang Sheng struggled a few times before finally gritting his teeth and climbing to his feet. His expression was complicated as he looked at the boy before him, who appeared several years younger than himself.

He could clearly feel the power contained in that palm strike. It was absolutely not something an ordinary child who had just awakened their martial soul could possess.

"Your soul power level..." Wang Sheng asked tentatively.

"Level fifteen."

Yun Tian did not hide it. It was not something he could keep secret anyway; everyone in the academy would know sooner or later.

A short, sallow, emaciated, malnourished boy walked in through the dormitory entrance.

"Hello, is this Dorm Seven?"

The boy spoke, drawing everyone's attention.

From the boy's appearance and the timeline, Yun Tian guessed that this guy was Tang San.

And indeed, it was him.

"That's right, this is Dorm Seven. What's your name?" Yun Tian asked.

"My name is Tang San," the boy said.

Yun Tian said calmly, "According to Dorm Seven's rules, newcomers must challenge the dorm boss. If you win, you'll be the boss. If you lose, you'll be my little brother."

Wang Sheng and the others nodded.

"Can I put my bundle away first?" Tang San was stunned for a moment, but he was not afraid. After all, he possessed the Tang Sect's secret arts, so he intended to put his bundle away before taking revenge.

"You can." Yun Tian nodded.

Tang San found an unoccupied bed, set down his bundle, then walked over to Yun Tian and assumed a fighting stance.

Tang San paused before answering.

"What?! Isn't Blue Silver Grass a useless martial soul? It can have soul power? And innate full soul power at that?!"

Upon hearing this, Wang Sheng and the others widened their eyes in disbelief.

Tang San ignored their reactions, since he had expected them already.

"My name is Yun Tian. My martial soul is the Earth Shadow Stone, and like you, I have innate full soul power," Yun Tian said calmly as well.

"What? Boss, you have innate full soul power too?!"

"You have innate full soul power too?!"

Everyone, Tang San included, was shocked once again.

"Mm."

"Come on. The battle begins."

"I won't hold back, so use your full strength too."

Yun Tian nodded and looked at Tang San. He wanted to personally see just how powerful the Tang Sect's secret arts truly were.

As soon as Yun Tian finished speaking, his whole body moved.

It was not the elusive, unpredictable footwork of Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track, but an extremely simple and swift forward step. The ground beneath his feet trembled slightly, and his body shot forward like a cannonball.

Tang San was startled. He immediately withdrew his hand and changed moves, taking several rapid Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track steps to widen the distance. At the same time, his hands blurred as dozens of concealed bursts of force struck from different angles, all landing on Yun Tian's body.

A series of dull impacts echoed through Dorm Seven. Wang Sheng and the others watched with their mouths agape, their eyes unable to keep up.

Yun Tian spoke calmly.

He closed in once more. This time, both palms struck together as Mysterious Jade Hand was driven to its limit. His palms shone white like jade, hard beyond compare, as they slammed viciously toward Yun Tian's chest.

Both palms struck Yun Tian squarely in the chest.

That attack contained enough force to split a wooden post as thick as a bowl.

Yet Yun Tian merely took half a step back. The clothes over his chest puffed up from the palm force before returning to normal.

He even had the leisure to lower his head and glance at his chest. Then he raised his head and gave Tang San a faint smile.

"Your strength is decent, but you can't break my defense."

Tang San's pupils shrank violently.

He could sense that Yun Tian's body was constantly covered by an invisible layer of earth-element power. That power was perfectly unified with the ground.

No matter where he attacked, that force would instantly draw replenishment from the earth beneath Yun Tian's feet, forever maintaining an indestructible state.
