"You only checked the results. You didn't check the scope Sudo himself was willing to take on."

"Confirmation doesn't mean you can keep adding to it without limit."

After reading it, Gu Heng did not insist.
"Then we'll go with your plan."
"It's not my plan," Horikita said. "It's Sudo's personal conditions."
That made Gu Heng pause.
He was used to summarizing plans as his own judgment, but he had forgotten that a reviewer's first responsibility was to refuse overreach.
Horikita saved the returned recommendation as a review record.
"Gu Heng, you can propose the optimal solution, but you can't write the optimal solution as something that must be carried out."
"I know."
"You'd better really know."
Their relationship did not improve, but their authority was clearly separated for the first time.
