Morishita Ai did not leave the common lounge. She set her terminal face-down on the table. Yukimura still had not accepted the offer.
"Eighty points won't get cheaper just because you wait longer."
"I wasn't planning to make it cheaper."
Morishita Ai raised a hand and tapped the edge of her terminal.
"I just want to confirm whether you people make mistakes too."
Yukimura looked at her.
"Class D doesn't verify mistakes for other people."
"Then even better."
She brought up the offer page again.
"Give me a lead you withdrew yourselves."
"Why?" Gu Heng asked.
"I can't afford the real answer."
Morishita Ai looked at the price field.
"At least an error can tell me who's willing to press the button first."
As those words fell, her terminal vibrated. Morishita Ai immediately covered the screen with her palm. She moved too quickly, and Gu Heng caught sight of the footer on the withdrawal page.
