Chapter Summaries

Jade was resurrected by Sterling and reunited with surviving members of the Black Shadow Clan, who pledged to help him take revenge on Hunters. He accepted Sterling’s offer to prepare for a confrontation with Netero and followed him away from the desert.

• The shattered pillar released a mass of malevolent Nen, and Jade emerged as a pale, white-haired youth.
• Jade remembered Netero killing the Qinglan Team and declared that he had returned.
• Purgatory, Hungry Ghost, and Asura welcomed Jade as their clan leader and swore loyalty to him.
• Jade gave each of his three descendants some of his blood, awakening their Nen with hatred and malice.
• Jade accused Sterling and the V5 of betraying his team, while Sterling explained that they had arranged his resurrection to remove Netero.
• Sterling told Jade his body needed several months to regain its power, and Jade agreed to go with him.

In Greed Island’s Aiai, Hisoka agreed to help Kastro, Goreinu, and Nico deal with Genthru’s Bomber group in exchange for information about the game administrator. Meanwhile, Leo arrived at Hunter Association headquarters to speak with Mizai Istom.

• Hisoka appeared behind Kastro, Goreinu, and Nico and nearly provoked Kastro into another fight before agreeing to hear their request.
• Nico explained the Bomber’s Genthru and his Countdown and Little Flower abilities, and Hisoka chose to fight Genthru.
