Long Wushang dragged Huo Yuhao deeper into the laboratory. At a metal wall, he pressed his hand against an inconspicuous panel. As Soul Power flowed into it, mechanisms whirred within the wall.

The heavy metal wall parted, revealing a passage just wide enough for two people to walk abreast.

At the end stood a completely sealed chamber. A single bed occupied its center, its frame made from a special alloy, with heavy iron chains fixed to all four corners.

Restraints of various shapes lined the head, foot, and sides of the bed. Each metal cuff contained a device designed to suppress a Soul Master's Soul Power and mental power.

Long Wushang reached the bed, released his grip, and tossed Huo Yuhao onto it. The frame gave a dull thud.

He moved swiftly, fastening Huo Yuhao's wrists to the head of the bed before locking iron rings around his ankles and waist.

A final metal chain crossed Huo Yuhao's chest, pinning his entire body firmly to the bed.
