Organization

The cult's upper ranks are divided between Zhongli Wu's elder faction and Long Xiaoyao's consecrated elder faction. Though both formally serve Ye Xishui, their rivalry is longstanding; Long Wushang's public recognition shifted substantial support toward the consecrates 4 5.

Bases and Resources

• Underground headquarters and main altar — Located in the Evil Demon Forest. Major assemblies of elders and consecrates are held at its main altar 4 5.
• Dragon Tomb — A highly restricted underground forbidden ground containing an altar built within an ancient dragon skeleton. It serves as Long Wushang's cultivation site and is guarded by formations and original-sin influence 1 2.
• Supreme Hierarch's Command Token — One of the cult's highest symbols of authority; it compels unconditional compliance with Ye Xishui's orders 6.
• Branch altars and covert channels — The cult's branch altars across the continent can collect rare texts, manuals, and herb records at Long Wushang's direction 33.
• Evil soul master forces — Includes Titled Douluo, Soul Douluo, Soul Saints, elite evil soul masters, and large numbers of ordinary followers 7 8 11.

Methods and Capabilities

Covert Infiltration

The cult conceals personnel as mercenaries, merchants, wandering soul masters, hunting parties, caravans, and other civilian groups before an operation begins 12 14.

• Teams gather separately in forests, towns, and along roads to avoid exposing the operation 12.
• In the Shrek operation, infiltrators killed city-defense officers and exploited the resulting collapse of the defensive line 14.
• Its forces prioritize disruption and mass casualties among vulnerable targets, including student dormitories, teaching districts, and the outer court 14 15.

Evil Soul Master Corruption

The cult transforms and retains powerful soul masters through evil soul power and resentful spiritual energy.

• Tang Ya joined the cult as the Blue Silver Saintess and was later remade through Long Wushang's Original Sin Contract into the Greed Divine Servant 2 9.
• Ma Xiaotao was brought to the cult as the Fire Phoenix Saintess and subjected to continued corruption intended to strengthen and mutate her Evil Fire Phoenix martial soul 5 8 10.

Military Coordination

The Holy Spirit Cult works with the Sun Moon Empire because both sides benefit from the arrangement: the cult gains resources, population, and an imperial war machine, while Xu Tianran employs the cult to remove political and military rivals 10 11.

• Sun Moon Empire soul-tool bombardment was used to pin down Shrek's defenses during the attack on Shrek City 14.
• The cult deployed more than ten Titled Douluo-level evil soul masters alongside Long Xiaoyao and a large infiltrated force for the operation 11.
• Long Wushang used the Supreme Hierarch's Command Token to direct the final withdrawal from Shrek City 23.

History

Long Wushang was recognized from birth as the cult's young master due to being the direct descendant of Ye Xishui and Long Xiaoyao. His exceptional twin martial souls and divine inheritance made him a central figure in the cult's future power struggle 1 4.

After Long Wushang emerged from seclusion, he invoked Ye Xishui's command token and ordered the cult to cooperate fully with the Sun Moon Empire in targeted attacks against the Three Douluo Kingdoms, with Shrek Academy as the immediate objective. Zhongli Wu and the elder faction initially attempted to minimize or adjourn the proposal, but Long Xiaoyao's arrival forced the upper ranks to comply 6 7.

The cult then mobilized nearly half of its deployable mid- and high-level strength, along with elite evil soul masters and ordinary followers. Its members infiltrated the Three Douluo Kingdoms in batches, waiting around Shrek City for the signal to strike 7 8 12.

Battle of Shrek City

The assault on Shrek Academy was the Holy Spirit Cult's first true full-scale offensive against the academy since the cult's founding 8.

• Sun Moon Empire soul-tool shells bombarded Shrek City while cult forces infiltrated through the city gates 14.
• The attackers targeted Shrek's younger generation, concentrating on the outer court, dormitories, and teaching district while stronger defenders were occupied or intercepted 14 15.
• Long Wushang used the Original Sin Demon Puppet to intensify greed, wrath, fear, and other impulses across the battlefield, breaking defender coordination and creating openings for cult members to kill 18 22.
• The attack severely damaged Shrek's outer academy, breached inner academy defenses, inflicted heavy student casualties, critically injured Huo Yuhao, and forced Mu En to expend his remaining lifespan 22 25.
• Sea God's Light killed or purified many evil soul masters and compelled a full retreat. Long Wushang and Long Xiaoyao issued the withdrawal order as divine radiance spread through the city 23 24.

The retreating force regrouped in the Star Dou Great Forest. More than half of the ordinary cultists involved were killed or injured; 672 cultists returned, while more than 300 remained unaccounted for. Two consecrated elders and three elders were grievously injured, and dozens of Soul Saints or stronger were lost 25.

• Ye Xishui — Supreme Cult Master and true ruler of the cult; mother of Long Wushang and issuer of the command token used to launch the Shrek operation 1 6.
• Long Xiaoyao — Supreme Consecrate whose authority over the consecrated elders supports Long Wushang and suppresses Zhongli Wu's faction 4 7.
