The girl's body was light and soft, almost weightless.
The instant Long Wushang lifted her, Wang Dong'er instinctively tightened her arms around his shoulders. Her legs parted and wrapped around his waist, and she buried her head against his shoulder again.

Long Wushang had settled into the large, soft leather executive chair with Wang Dong'er in his arms.
The petite girl sat sideways across his lap, her shapely calves dangling limply on either side of the chair, her long pink-and-blue hair spilling over his shoulder.
She still hadn't loosened her arms around Long Wushang's neck. Like a wronged kitten that had finally found its owner to seek comfort from, she wanted nothing more than to cling to him every moment.
Long Wushang let her, holding her waist with one hand and gently patting her back with the other. After being comforted for so long, Wang Dong'er finally felt a little better, and her emotions gradually settled.
She lifted her little face, as tear-streaked as pear blossoms drenched in rain, and gazed fixedly at the man before her with reddened, wet eyes.
The sight stirred a wave of tenderness in Long Wushang's heart. He reached out and gently wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes, asking softly, "There now, why are you still crying?"
