Night Elves were a race that could not be ignored in World of Warcraft's history.
They were Azeroth's second generation of rulers after the Trolls, and the first race to master arcane magic.
They had once drawn the Burning Legion's attention by violating forbidden powers, and they had once mobilized their entire race, driving the demons away with the aid of numerous demigods.
They possessed nearly eternal lives and were currently the most powerful mortal race on Azeroth.
Although Ye Ting had long known a great deal about the Night Elves, this was the first time he had truly seen a living one.
She was a female Night Elf with the standard beautiful features of an elf. Her age was impossible to determine—elves retained a youthful appearance until they entered their twilight years. She had blue hair, and strange patterns were painted across her deep purple skin.
Most importantly, though, she was naked from head to toe, tied to a pillar like a trussed pig. Her expression was utterly despairing; she had clearly realized her fate.
Yet when Ye Ting saw her, his eyes lit up.
Don't misunderstand. It was not because he had seen her body. Though he had never personally seen a Night Elf before, to Ye Ting, they were merely High Elves with altered skin color and physique. Aside from the appeal of their purple skin, there was nothing especially remarkable about them.
What delighted Ye Ting was that the Night Elf before him could serve perfectly as his guide in Kalimdor, as well as an opportunity to make contact with the Night Elves.
The Night Elves were a conservative and isolated race. After the Well of Eternity and arcane magic had drawn demons to them, they had completely forbidden the use of magic and sealed themselves
