While the Orc army was battling the Draenei, Warchief Blackhand also dispatched scouts in every direction to investigate the movements of other civilizations on Draenor.
Although the immediate priority was to destroy the Draenei, the Horde's ultimate goal was to conquer these civilizations one by one. Blackhand had long set his sights on the other inhabitants of this planet.
The island known as Farahlon was the last stronghold of the Primals. Its forests were lush and dense, and its remote location made it one of the few regions on Draenor untouched by fel magic.
Although Highmaul had already fallen into Orc hands, there were many other Ogre settlements across Draenor. These Ogres, as well as the Gronn, Ogron, and Magnaron, were all targets of the Orcs.
Beyond that, the Orcs' greatest target was the high-ranking Arakkoa of the Spires of Arak. This intelligent race had once ruled the whole of Draenor. Though they had now declined, they had regained much of their ancient Apexis technology—a form of magic based on Apexis crystals. They had even mounted a massive cannon atop their soaring capital, Skyreach, capable of channeling the power of the blazing sun to defend their territory.
As for weaker races such as the Sporelings in the marshes, the Sabermaw in the jungles, and the Podlings, the Orcs regarded them as future slaves and possessions already in their grasp.
Though the wars to conquer these races had yet to begin, Highmaul's prison already held many prisoners from among them.
And, of course, many Draenei as well.
