"You think you're the only one who can fly? Watch my new ninjutsu, Firebird Mystic Art!" Jin spread his pair of wings, red as the evening sky. "Wind Release! Great Breakthrough!" A powerful gust blew toward Deidara and his three airborne remote-controlled bombs. Deidara did not meet it head-on and swiftly dodged instead. Then he sent a two-winged bird toward Jin's Great Breakthrough.

Without waiting to see the result of the collision, Jin quickly formed hand seals again. "Wind Release! Wind Tornado!" Jin unleashed a tornado at a ninety-degree angle vertically, like an ice cream cone with its creamy side blowing toward Deidara himself. This was a large-scale offensive ninjutsu, and the spinning winds stirred the surrounding air. Seeing such a wide-ranging attack, Deidara immediately sent the remote-controlled bomb owl and dragon beside him charging toward the tornado. Boom! Jin's gale and Deidara's two-winged bird exploded at the same time.

Deidara hurriedly summoned another two-winged bird. At that moment, his owl had already rushed into the hollow interior of Jin's vertical tornado, followed closely by Deidara's C2 remote-controlled bomb—the dragon.

This sudden change made Jin realize that the center of the Wind Tornado was hollow. If Deidara's owl reached the base of the tornado and exploded, blasting a hole in or destroying the Wind Tornado, he would next have to face the threat of the C2 bomb. In the blink of an eye, time had passed. After an explosion, Deidara's bomb dragon appeared before Jin. If it exploded at this distance, Jin would either die or be severely injured.

"Rasengan! Ice Shield! Ice Coffin! Earth Release! Earth Prison!" At the critical moment, Jin first used a Rasengan to attack and detonate the C2 bomb dragon, then actually used two ninjutsu meant to restrain an enemy's movements on himself.

Boom! The C2 exploded, sending Jin flying far away. He rolled several times before finally stopping. Even then, only half a layer remained of his two layers of protection.

A trace of blood seeped from the corner of Jin's mouth. He spat and thought, Damn it, it actually held! I only suffered some internal injuries, though. They'll recover soon enough. My Radiance Aura isn't just for show! "Whoosh!" Jin activated his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. He was going to attack with everything he had.

"Now that my warm-up is over, let's begin the battle," Deidara said coolly, making Jin want to pin him down and beat him senseless.

"Then I'd better start warming up," Jin shot back pretentiously.

After hearing that, Deidara nearly fell off his giant bird.

Jin looked at Deidara's expression and said with satisfaction, "You don't have as much chakra as I do, and you're always flying around in the sky. As long as I keep the wind blowing and drag this out, there's nothing you can do to me."

"Oh? Is that so? Then let's try it," Deidara said.

"All right! Let me show you my super-powerful A-rank ninjutsu. Wind-Fire Combined Ninjutsu! Fire Tornado!" Jin shouted after finishing his hand seals. A massive tornado mixed with crimson flames spun toward Deidara. With every step it advanced, streams of fire shot out in all directions.

Deidara did not dare let his guard down. It seems he really is powerful. The probing is over. Time for true art. This technique can't be dodged. Looks like I can only blow it apart!

"C2 Clay Dragon! C1 Butterfly!" Deidara quickly created two bombs. Boom! With a deafening explosion, Deidara used only one C2 and one C1 to neutralize Jin's attack. His judgment had been extremely accurate. Everything returned to calm.

"Let's fight on the ground! I can't bring out my full strength up here!" Deidara said.

"Fine!" Jin swiftly flew downward.

The two returned to the ground and faced each other. A moment later, they moved at the same time.

"Phantom Clone Technique!" Jin summoned countless shadow clones to surround Deidara, and they attacked together.

"C1 Clay Centipede!" A giant many-legged bug encircled Deidara. A series of thudding impacts told them both that Jin's clones had not achieved much.

"C1 Clay Snake! C1 Clay Spider!" Before Jin's shadow clones had all vanished, Deidara quietly summoned two more fighters.

Using the shadow clones to block Deidara's line of sight, Jin rapidly gathered chakra. A terrifying sphere of lightning was taking shape. If Kakashi had been there, he would certainly have recognized the technique. It was Kakashi's ultimate move, the Lightning Cutter! Yet its power was more than ten times that of Kakashi's Lightning Cutter. It was also a time-consuming ninjutsu. Moreover, Jin had changed the Lightning Cutter, which could only be used at close range, into a long-range attack, and could even alter its direction through chakra threads. Jin called it—Lightning Slash. Once all the phantom clones had been wiped out by the many-legged insect, Jin's Lightning Slash struck as well.

Deidara stared in horror at the lightning sphere with its overwhelming energy fluctuations. He already knew that if this attack hit him, his life would be over. In the utmost emergency, Deidara sent the centipede guarding him and the bomb snake charging toward the Lightning Slash, while using the force of the two insects' explosions to propel himself backward.

"Cough, cough. You really are powerful. You actually made me bleed. But you're not feeling too good either, are you?" Deidara coughed up blood as he leaned against a tree.

A huge eight-legged spider had Jin tightly bound. With both hands restrained, Jin could no longer form hand seals. He immediately fixed his gaze on Deidara, and his six-pointed-star Mangekyo began to spin. "Fallen Netherworld! Show your power!" Jin prayed silently.

Deidara coughed and spat out a mouthful of blood. The eyes he had just raised drooped again. Jin cursed angrily, "What rotten luck! Looks like I have no choice but to use that chakra-draining space ninjutsu!"

Deidara coughed up another mouthful of blood and said word by word, "End it! Art—is—an—explosion!"

The instant Deidara said "explosion," Jin activated his unique secret technique, Spatial Movement. Then his hands rapidly formed seals, and a Spatial Conversion Technique immediately took shape. Deidara's body appeared within the spider's embrace. Though Deidara knew he had suddenly been moved elsewhere, he still habitually spoke the word "explode."

Boom! The spider exploded.
