His right shoulder was empty, the entire arm nowhere to be found. The cut was clean and smooth, clearly the work of Saitama's Susanoo.

Saitama staggered through the forest, blood constantly spilling from the corner of his mouth. Crimson droplets scattered across the ground, but he had no time to care. In the blink of an eye, he had fled to the foot of East Mountain, the enormous energy construct behind him having long since vanished.

Looking back, he saw flames soaring from the enemy camp and corpses strewn everywhere. Without hesitation, Saitama plunged deep into the forest.

Saitama's condition was utterly terrible, yet he did not dare stop for even a moment. The enemy could catch up at any time, and he had to remain vigilant.

Though he could only exert force with one leg, his leaps through the forest remained steady. His left leg was completely useless, but not a flicker of emotion showed on his face. He had forcibly shoved the dislocated bone back into place earlier, leaving no visible abnormality on the surface.

On treetops a kilometer from the Hidden Stone camp, two ninja in long robes stood silently.

"How is it?" the ninja in the tanuki mask asked in a low voice.

"The target did break through the encirclement, but the exact circumstances..." The crouching ninja hesitated.

They were hidden sentries ordered to monitor the area and report the target's movements in real time.

"How is that possible?" The standing ninja could not hide his shock. Breaking out of a tight encirclement alone was far beyond the target's supposed strength.

"He summoned a gigantic skeletal frame and simply charged out."

"Absurd!"

The two stared at each other. The ninja responsible for observation nodded solemnly, confirming once more that what he had seen was real.
