Uchiha Xin stood quietly at the village entrance, his deep gaze surveying this seemingly ordinary yet vibrant village. The afterglow of the setting sun spilled over the golden rice fields, shimmering in ripples, peaceful and serene. The villagers went about their work, while children played among the fields, their laughter echoing through every corner of the village.

He took a deep breath, inhaling the scent of earth and rice that filled the air, and warmth rose in his heart. Since leaving his clan and traveling the land, this was the most peaceful village he had encountered. There was no smoke of war, no struggle for power—only simple, unadorned life.

Perhaps I could live an ordinary person's life here. The thought flashed through Uchiha Xin's mind, but he quickly suppressed it. He knew he bore the heavy responsibility of his clan and could not give up so easily.

Just then, a little boy in coarse cloth clothing ran over. A bright smile covered his face, and he held a bunch of ripe grapes in his hand.

"Big brother, are you from out of town? This bunch of grapes is for you. They're really sweet!" The little boy held the grapes out before Uchiha Xin, his bright eyes full of anticipation.

Uchiha Xin smiled as he accepted the grapes, gently plucking one and placing it in his mouth. Sure enough, its sweetness instantly filled his mouth, making him close his eyes in delight.

"Thank you, little one. These grapes really are sweet." He opened his eyes and looked at the satisfied smile on the boy's face, warmth welling up within him.

"You're welcome, big brother. We have lots of other tasty food here too. You can stay a few more days, and I'll show you around." The little boy invited him warmly.
