Sunlight filtered through the gaps in the window, casting mottled patches across Uchiha Xin's face. He gently rubbed his eyes and woke from his sleep. This mission was another logistics assignment. Standing in the clan's council hall, Uchiha Xin looked determinedly at the two companions beside him. "The Uchiha Clan head has assigned us another logistics mission, just like before. We can't let our guard down this time. I was seriously injured last time because I didn't take a logistics mission seriously enough."
The two companions were Uchiha Gen and Uchiha Lin Ren. Both were Uchiha Xin's friends and outstanding members of the clan. Like Uchiha Xin, they were all geniuses within the clan, and they had been kept from the front lines for their protection. Still, they all understood that no matter how large or small a mission was, they had to give it their all.
"Xin, you're right." Uchiha Gen nodded, determination gleaming in his eyes. "Logistics missions are just as important. We can't pay such a terrible price because of carelessness."
Uchiha Lin Ren nodded in agreement. "That's right. We all remember the lesson from last time. This time, we'll be careful and make sure the mission is completed smoothly."
The three exchanged smiles, and their bond deepened in that moment. They knew how difficult it was to find like-minded companions in the complicated environment of the Uchiha Clan.
They then began discussing the specifics of the mission. Uchiha Xin handed the mission document to the other two. It detailed the supplies they needed to transport, their destination, the route, and other information. The three carefully read through it, occasionally sharing their thoughts and suggestions.
"Looks like this mission won't be easy." Uchiha Gen frowned. "Not only might we face enemy attacks, but we'll also have to
