After the first day of battle ended, Uchiha Xin sat atop the ruins, watching the distant flames of war gradually die out. His heart was filled with reflections on the battle. He understood that although they had won a temporary victory, the price had been enormous, and many of their shortcomings had been exposed.
As an elite of the Uchiha Clan, Uchiha Xin had always been known for his outstanding speed and ninjutsu. But during this battle, he realized that relying too heavily on speed and taijutsu consumed a great deal of chakra, leaving him exhausted in the later stages of the fight.
"I should use genjutsu more often," Uchiha Xin muttered to himself. "Genjutsu can not only confuse enemies, but also conserve chakra during battle. I possess the Uchiha Clan's unique Kekkei Genkai—the Sharingan—which allows me to easily unleash powerful genjutsu. If I can use genjutsu more flexibly in battle, I'll be able to preserve my chakra and remain more composed on the battlefield."
Uchiha Xin began reviewing his genjutsu techniques. He discovered that while his proficiency in genjutsu was far from shallow, he had not fully brought out its proper power in battle. He realized that this was mainly because he relied too much on speed and taijutsu during combat, neglecting the use of genjutsu.
"I have to change the way I fight." Uchiha Xin made up his mind. "I need to use genjutsu more flexibly in battle and draw my enemies into my illusions. At the same time, I must keep a calm mind, remain unmoved by the enemy's attacks, and always hold fast to my beliefs and will."
In the days that followed, Uchiha Xin began focusing on genjutsu training. He studied the methods of casting different genjutsu and learned how to use them more skillfully
