The five strongest symbiotes in Mexico City stared at one another. Though they were five independent consciousnesses, they looked like five tribes.
"Red! Do you dare fight me?" The thirty thousand zombies of the Hannibal Symbiote shouted in unison, their voices brimming with madness.
The Red Symbiote it provoked possessed fifty thousand constituent zombies, making it far stronger in sheer numbers.
Yet Hannibal showed no fear at all, its bearing like an army of thousands.
The Red Symbiote fell silent for a moment before saying,
"Our common enemy is the Transit Tower. Fighting will only drain our strength. If you wish to confirm my intentions, then let us destroy this damned tower first. After that... perhaps we can have our final battle."
The Hannibal Symbiote gave a sinister chuckle.
"Very good. That must be what they think as well. Come on, destroy this tower, flatten it, crush it!"
The other symbiotes voiced their agreement.
"Come on!"
"Break the shackles! I am free!"
"Free will shall never submit!"
Before the Transit Tower, even these powerful symbiotes at the top of the food chain had no choice but to unite.
As they spoke, the symbiotes present, including the Hannibal Symbiote, rolled out
