Dig Out My Left Eye

The white steam quickly dispersed, revealing the figure's true form!

Veins bulged across his forehead, and the muscles all over his body swelled high, making him radiate the savage ferocity of a beast!

Even his hair had grown much longer in those few short minutes. His iron-black locks whipped in the gale stirred up by the steam like a mass of dancing snakes!

Claws extended from his fingertips, fangs reflected a chilling white gleam, and his crimson eyes had pupils narrowed like a feline's.

His skin had taken on an ashen-white hue, as though what stood there was not a human, but a marble statue.

A tiger-like growl rumbled from his throat!

"King... King of Beasts..." Kuafu stared wide-eyed at the creature standing in the sunlight and muttered.

That youth was Shen Feng!

Stone Eye's body twitched. Shock and terror flashed through his eyes before every trace of life finally faded away.

Even in his dreams, he had never imagined that the one to kill him would not be Kuafu, the nemesis he had believed destined to oppose him, but that weak human!

"Stone Eye is dead!"

"Stone Eye was killed!"

"Killed by that... that monster!"

"Shoot him, shoot him! What the hell is that thing!?"

The apes entangled with the wolves shouted. Ignoring everything else, they raised their guns and fired at Shen Feng.

"Rat-a-tat-tat..." Gunfire erupted. Shen Feng raised Stone Eye's corpse in front of himself as a shield and, without dodging, accelerated toward the enemy!

Under Kuafu's shocked gaze, the skin on the side of the human youth facing the enemy rapidly transformed into stone, like a thick layer of armor!

Stray bullets occasionally struck his body, but most ricocheted away. Only powerful rifle rounds could leave small dents in him—and that was all!

For the moment, bullets simply could not penetrate the youth's body. They could only chip off a few fragments!

"Shoot him! Aim for his eyes and joints!"

Stone Eye's deputy, Fang, roared. Stone Eye's death did not matter. As long as they killed this human and Kuafu, everything could still be salvaged. They could still survive within the tribe!

Before his words had even faded, Stone Eye's body flew through the air and crashed heavily into the apes, the tremendous force knocking them sprawling in every direction.

Shen Feng suddenly dove forward, arriving before the foremost ape. He threw an uppercut from below, smashing it viciously into the ape's chin.

With a crisp crack, the ape's jaw shattered. Its head jerked violently upward, and its cervical spine was torn apart in an instant!

Expressionless and without the slightest hesitation, Shen Feng casually pulled the dagger from the ape's waist, slashed it like lightning across the throats of two apes beside him, then flung the knife, piercing another ape's eye socket.

"Stop him! Stop him!"

"Use knives!"

"No, use guns!"

The apes kept turning their gun barrels, trying to take aim, only to find that they could not keep up with his movements at all. He was like a gecko, capable of running straight across the walls as he charged into their midst!

The apes' initial fury gradually turned to fear. They crowded together and backed away bit by bit.

There was nothing they could do. They could only watch helplessly as their companions in front of them were slaughtered by that crazed beast!

Necks were snapped, brains pierced, hearts shot through—every strike was fatal. Yet the blades and guns in their hands could do nothing to him.

"Don't... don't come closer!" Fang shouted, watching as the last two subordinates before him had their heads smashed apart.

Like a white demon!

"Bang! Bang! Bang!" Fang pulled the trigger repeatedly, but every shot was perfectly evaded. Then the other party seized the hand holding his gun.

A tremendous force came through his hand. Fang tried to flee, but the white demon's other hand viciously clamped around his throat.

Under Fang's terrified gaze, the hand holding his gun was slowly turned, the barrel aimed at his own temple.

"No, spare me, I... it was all Stone Eye!" Fang begged bitterly as he met those utterly emotionless eyes.

The next moment, his finger was forced down onto the trigger.

Bang! The bullet tore through the ape's head, ending his terror forever.

The last ape fell. The flickering lights illuminated Shen Feng's beastlike body as he stood amid dozens of ape corpses and shattered human stone statues, like a demon king from the abyss.

This was a life-form far more perfect than either humans or apes!

Kuafu leaned against a corner of the corridor, looking at the scene before him as he murmured:

"Beautiful... Could this... be the true meaning of the Stone Statue Virus's existence?"

Steam billowed again, and Shen Feng's body gradually returned to its normal human form.

He turned around, his clothes already soaked in blood.

Although temporarily petrifying parts of his skin could block bullets, it could still be damaged, leaving shallow wounds from the impacts.

Fortunately, none of them were fatal.

After rummaging through the apes' equipment, Shen Feng found several bottles of water. He immediately opened one and began drinking deeply.
