Beyond the golden gate was a field of white light. The instant they entered, their vision blurred, and only after a moment did they gradually adapt to the sight before them.
Before them stood a colossal golden hall. Directly ahead was a deep pool and an enormous fountain filled with all kinds of sculptures, its springwater murmuring as it flowed.
The water was all golden, carrying an intoxicating fragrance that made them feel faintly drunk after a single breath.
Shen Feng focused his gaze and immediately discovered that the fountain was flowing with the rich liquor of golden wine, its scent exceptionally sweet and mellow.
Wu Ta had never seen anything like it and could not help swallowing.
Looking up, they saw that the golden hall's dome was several hundred meters high. Multicolored glass overhead cast brilliant rays of light, dyeing the entire floor in dazzling hues.
On closer inspection, the floor was not paved with ordinary stone either. It was made of countless cut gemstones in every color, pieced together into one enormous gem-studded floor!
There were diamonds, sapphires, rubies, agates, jade, emeralds, and more—so many that they stretched beyond sight.
Every one of these gems was of the finest quality. In Shen Feng's original world, each would have been considered priceless.
Beyond the fountain and pool were buildings stacked layer upon layer within the hall. They resembled round trays spiraling upward around a central axis, extending all the way to where they vanished beneath the dome.
