Soon, led by the nurse, he reached the edge of the hall. A square indentation in the silver-gray wall resembled a metal elevator.
Kuafu stepped into the square recessed space, and then felt the floor suddenly jolt. The metal elevator hidden within the wall carried him upward.
He understood that this was likely the terrifying power called the "Grey Tide" controlled by the Savior.
He had witnessed the Grey Tide's might in the Stone Statue Apocalypse before. It had been like a metallic ocean wave, capable of wiping away everything in its path.

Soon, light appeared around them, and the metal elevator carried Kuafu and the nurse into a room.
The nurse made a gesture inviting Kuafu to leave. Once he stepped out, the metal elevator doors closed again and carried the nurse away.
Kuafu walked forward through the room and saw that it appeared to be a massive office. It was decorated in an antique style, with rows of bookshelves along the walls, filled with books written in various languages.
