At the cliff's summit.
The mountain wind swept past, stirring the robes and skirts of the few people present.
"Among all the people I have seen in my life, Fellow Daoist ranks among the top three!" The white-haired woman spoke to Jiang Ning, a faint note of emotion in her voice.
"You flatter me, Senior!" Jiang Ning said, then asked, "There is something I do not know whether it would be convenient for Senior to answer."
"Please speak, Fellow Daoist!" the white-haired woman said.
Looking at the Crimson Radiance Ancestor before him, Jiang Ning's heart stirred.
"Senior, have you reached the Heavenly Immortal realm?"
"Correct!" The white-haired woman looked at Jiang Ning and softly uttered two words.
"Senior, in the world you inhabit, are there beings who stand above Heavenly Immortals?" Jiang Ning asked again.
At those words, the white-haired woman looked toward Jiang Ning, recalling the words she had heard him say through the air earlier.
Undying-level beings.
"Fellow Daoist asks this—have you perhaps seen beings beyond Heavenly Immortals?"
"To be honest with you, Senior, I have!" Jiang Ning nodded and answered frankly.
Hearing this, the white-haired woman slowly let out a breath.
Her bare white feet stood upon the hard mountain rock.
She casually plucked a pinecone and tossed it to Jiang Ning.
"No wonder Fellow Daoist asked such a question! Beyond Heavenly Immortals are True Immortals! Even in the Primordial Era, such beings were figures at the level of sect patriarchs. In this age, as Fellow Daoist has seen, they do indeed still exist. But to my knowledge, among the great lineages within the Azurewave Realm, none possess beings of that level."
At this point, the Crimson Radiance Ancestor paused again.
Then she slowly said, "Across the entire Azurewave Realm, I rank among the top three."
