Background / History

The Special Organization is a national body established to handle supernatural threats. Its personnel are largely Sequence users, though it also works with other Transcendent paths and registers unaffiliated superhumans discovered within Xia Nation. 68 250 327

Decades before the current spiritual-energy resurgence, the Organization fought a devastating war against the Martial God Hall. Many of its experts died, while others withdrew into seclusion to recover; the losses left the next generation with a prolonged shortage of high-ranking members. 156

During the resurgence, the Organization conducted an extended crackdown on the Spirit Cult. The Cult's evasive tactics exhausted its forces before several Priest factions united for direct attacks on Organization facilities. 20 39 109

After the Corpse High Priest incident exposed too much supernatural activity to conceal, the Organization publicly acknowledged the spiritual-energy resurgence. It launched the Superhuman Website, published classifications and realm information, and issued Crisis Orders while retaining sensitive information such as the Spirit Realm from the general public. 69 144

Following the battle over Cang City's Spirit Realm anchor point, the Organization secured the anchor and prioritized capturing Auxiliary Bishop Xie. It later prepared a scouting operation into the Spirit Realm while Li Longxuan pushed for war against the Spirit Realm. 142 159 197
