A little earlier, everyone from the Sun Moon Empire had heard an announcement aboard the Spirit Ship calling all Super Douluos to the deck.
When he heard the announcement, Jing Hongchen had assumed they were going into battle. Besides, the Spirit Ship had explicitly called only for Super Douluos, and the Sun Moon Empire had only brought one. They had therefore stayed behind to avoid casualties.
Later, however, Jing Hongchen discovered that the summons did not seem to be for a battle, but for some sort of opportunity.
Then several Super Douluos returned looking disappointed. Only after questioning a few experts from the Spirit Pagoda did Jing Hongchen learn that those people from the Douluo Three Kingdoms really were claiming an opportunity! And it was actually an opportunity connected to a Heavenly Lord?!
The moment he learned this, Jing Hongchen's expression darkened. He immediately gathered his people and flew toward the area.
Fortunately, the people from the Spirit Pagoda were decent. Otherwise, Jing Hongchen felt he might have been kept in the dark until his dying day.
They flew quickly, and soon Jing Hongchen spotted the many experts gathered ahead. Looking closer, he saw that everyone was surrounding a staff, seemingly trying to lift it.
"You're here. I was just about to head back to find you."
When Tianyang Douluo saw Jing Hongchen and his companions flying over, his signature smile appeared. He greeted them with a smile, as though they were old friends he had not seen in ages.
"No need. Better to arrive early than at just the right moment."
Jing Hongchen put on a professional smile as well, then ignored Tianyang Douluo
