Xiao Bai followed Snow Empress's finger and looked over, his ice-blue eyes filled with disbelief.

"Him?"

Xiao Bai's voice rose several pitches as his massive head swayed from side to side. "Mother, you sacrificed yourself to a human? A young boy?"

Snow Empress said nothing.

Xiao Bai grew even more anxious. His thirty-meter-tall body took two steps forward, making the ice crack beneath his feet.

"Why? Who in the Far North could force you to sacrifice yourself? What right does this human have—"

Before he could finish, a platinum beam of light shot out from between Nezha's brows.

Xiao Bai whipped his head around and glared fiercely at Sky Dream Ice Silkworm, anger surging in his ice-blue eyes.

"Shut up!" Xiao Bai growled. "My mother is the uncrowned king of the Far North! Who in the entire Far North can defeat her? How could a human Soul Master possibly—"

"Why couldn't he?" Sky Dream Ice Silkworm muttered. "Ask your mother yourself."
