The purple phantom contained lightning, the red figure held blazing fire, and every slash from the blue phantom carried frost.
She was starting to struggle.
These women fought without any reservations. Their bodies had no sense of solidity whatsoever; when her spinning shield struck them, it felt nothing like hitting real flesh. Though she could block their powerful attacks, Hoshiguma felt herself being drawn into a hard fight.
"Those people all look exactly the same?"
She muttered to herself.
No, although they looked similar, their attack patterns each had their own distinct style.
The commotion in the backyard caught Hoshino's attention. She rose to her feet. Someone was already locked in a bitter stalemate in her backyard; if she still showed no reaction, it would seem a little too deliberate.
"More petty criminals have come to cause trouble at the shrine."
Her figure vanished in an instant. Two entirely different icy blades streaked through the air, reflecting a chilling glint.
The lightning and fire clones among the three vanished.
The flash was incredibly sharp, but in truth, AI Blood Rose had withdrawn her skill at just the right moment from outside the field. It looked as though Hoshino had charged in majestically and dispatched Hoshiguma's hard-fought opponents one blade at a time.
"You...?"
Hoshino hesitated as she stared at the final ice clone. The blade in her hand suddenly slowed, but the ice incarnation gave her no chance to react. Its greatsword came crashing down, and Hoshiguma watched as she twisted away and drove her blade in from an extremely tricky angle.
"Did you think elemental clones like this would work on me?"
Hoshino muttered to herself.
Ch'en had guarded the front yard for nothing, so she hurried into the backyard with her blade in hand. She tensed
