Rhodes Island's HR department had encountered quite a troublesome problem.
Not just a problem for Rhodes Island, but for the entire world. A shrine maiden who should have remained at Yae Shrine had somehow arrived at Rhodes Island, walked straight into HR, and sat down with impeccable manners, her knees pressed together.
The HR operators fled at once, and Doctor Kal'tsit and Amiya promptly took over.
"Name?"
"Yae Sakura."
"Age?"
"Unknown."
"Place of origin?"
"That place is now called Higashi."

After several rounds of questioning, Hoshino answered everything fluently, but Kal'tsit still failed to obtain the information she wanted. She slumped back in her office chair, displaying a laziness completely unlike her usual self.
Well, she already knew that being serious was utterly useless before a shrine maiden.
Once all the questions had been asked, it was time to file the records. Hoshino noticed that her file was much thinner than those of the other operators. Only Skadi's could compare. She stood up, only to find that the people across from her had no intention of leaving.
Kal'tsit took out a recording pen.
"What follows will not be entered into your file..."
"Oh?"
Hoshino was finally interested. This was probably a confidential interview. She needed to carefully consider how to answer the coming questions.
Kal'tsit spoke. "Why did you choose Rhodes Island? And what happened to the people remaining at the shrine?"
"I packed them all up and sent them to Theresa... Oh, she's the head of the Apocalypse family. You may not remember her very well, but she is indeed a good custodian. But due to a few minor issues, I can't go there for the time being."
