Amiya quickly found herself unable to smile.
As she worked, a soft snoring sound came from beside her. It was so peaceful that it made her want to slack off too, but that was absolutely unacceptable. There was no way Amiya would slack off.
There was still so much work to do. Amiya could not rest yet.
"Snore."
Cang Xuan's Book taught Amiya through both words and example that it was time to rest.
Rest...
She couldn't rest!
She looked up at Cang Xuan's Book. Her fair little feet swayed back and forth. No one's gaze could possibly miss such soft, pale feet, as though tofu had come to life.
Just looking at her made one feel relaxed, irresistibly wanting to close one's eyes.
The sounds suddenly drifted away.
As she watched, Amiya fell asleep.

When she woke up, she found Cang Xuan's Book staring at her without blinking, her azure eyes glinting mischievously.
She smiled like a little devil.
"Not very qualified, are you? A leader taking a nap in her own office—is that what a qualified leader should do?"
"Ah, I don't know what came over me either."
Amiya answered, almost talking to herself. She truly did not know what she had been doing, why she had fallen asleep in front of Cang Xuan's Book, or why she had slept so sweetly.
She glanced at the wall clock. She had not been asleep for long—only a quarter of an hour had passed.
But asleep was asleep. Whether it was for an entire day or just one minute, she had still fallen asleep. Amiya was worried about leaving a bad impression and wanted to read Cang Xuan's Book's emotions, but she stopped herself in time.
Leaving aside the fact that Cang Xuan's Book was merely a weapon, what
