Standing at the gate, Kallen looked down at the land below. Amid the vast expanse of white, the enormous nuclear blast crater stood out starkly.
"Time to switch to a new character."
Kallen muttered to herself and swiped her card to transform.
Golden feathers drifted in the wind as a holy angelic aura enveloped the shrine's entrance, looking somewhat out of place. This transformation was no longer as plain and unadorned as before. First, golden light burst from her body, then layers of red-and-white armor covered her. The spectacle was so grand that it felt a little uncomfortable.
"Why does this look like a magical girl transformation?"
Theresa quipped.
